CLAO solicitors showcase breadth of casework and expertise in LSA CPD sessions

These are exciting times in the legal education space as CLAO teams up with Legal Services Agency to deliver a national year-long programme of CPD.

Starting this July, CLAO solicitors will deliver twenty-four training sessions to the profession over the next twelve months.

They have developed an impressive programme that truly showcases our core areas of casework and breadth of expertise.

While our solicitors already have significant experience of designing and delivering legal training, this particular format and scale presents a new opportunity for our service.

Topics our solicitors will be providing CPD include:

  • the Equality Act and homelessness by Chris Ryan, senior solicitor
  • Tips for Attending Children’s Hearings by Annie Lace, solicitor
  • User-guide to the Housing & Property Chamber First Tier Tribunal by Caitlin Paul, solicitor
  • Defending a guardianship application by Ashley Martin, senior solicitor
  • Sheriff Court Evictions by Katherine Anderson, solicitor
  • Adoption Orders by Simon Leigh, Head of Office
  • Protective Orders by Rhea Frame, senior solicitor
  • Homeless Persons (Unsuitable Accommodation) (Scotland) Order 2014 by Hazel Bon, senior solicitor
