A senior solicitor from CLAO Highland and Islands will be taking part in a number of drop-in sessions in Lewis, Orkney and Shetland – see dates, times & locations below.

No appointment is necessary.

How can we help?

CLAO Highland and Islands can help those eligible for legal aid with legal issues within their core case work:

Housing and Homelessness
some types of debt, money and welfare benefits issues where the input of our solicitor casework services can be most effective
Child Protection and children’s hearings
some types of family law – those that involve an element of public law
mental health, Adults with Incapacity and Vulnerable Adult and Adult Protection cases.

Dates, times & locations

Lewis 23 & 24 April – 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:00. To be held at Stornoway CAB, 9 Lewis St, Stornoway HS1 2JF
Orkney – 12 May – 09:00-13:00 and 14:00 –17:00. To be held at The Old Library, 8 Laina Street, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1NW
Shetland – 22 June – 10:00-13:00 and 14:00 –16:00. To be held at Islesburgh Complex, King Harald Street, Lerwick, ZE1 0EQ
